invites you to participate in an exciting community service opportunity that will allow you to

- Contribute to combating climate change by reducing the environmental impact of buildings
- Learn new skills
- Make new friends and reconnect with old ones
What: Install weatherization kits on behalf of the residents of two Korean senior buildings in Chicago - Koram Senior Housing and Moogoong Terrace - and serve and eat lunch with the residents.
When: November 21, 2009; two shifts 9a-1p ( Koram Building) and 12p-4p ( Moogoong Building). You can elect to do a morning shift, an afternoon shift, or both. For the morning shift, please arrive at Koram by 8:30a, and for the afternoon shift please arrive at Moogoong by 11:30a, for a short training on how to install the weatherization kits.
Where: Koram Senior Housing - 4444 N. Harding Avenue Chicago, IL (morning shift); Moogoong Terrace - 4848 N. Kedzie Avenue Chicago, IL (afternoon shift)
What to bring: Utility knife and screwdriver (If you do not have equipment, we can provide some for you)
