Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) - ESL Workshop
Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) Program- This program is a far-reaching community campaign to educate taxpayers who speak English as a second language (ESL) by utilizing various economic, social and cultural networks and resources.
Our campaign activities to reach out to low-income families and people with limited English proficiency include:1) presentations at churches, ESL classes, and meetings; 2) regular workshops held two times during the year; 3) special workshops during the tax filing season; 4) one-on-one outreach at worksites; 5) media outreach (print, radio, and TV), with a combined circulation of 50,000.
The clinic is open full time all year round. Our clinic staff is available from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The Clinic is closed on Federal holidays, New Years Day, and Christmas.
