에콰도르에서 최근 큰 지진이 발생하여 많은 이재민이 생겼습니다. 한인사회복지회에서는 에콰도르 시키고 총영사관과 협조 하에 구호품을 받아 전달하기로 하였습니다. 시카고 지역에서는 뎁 멜 시의원 사무실과 노스이스트 대학, 그리고 한인사회복지회에서 구호품을 기부받고 있습니다. 


세계는 이제 우리의 이웃이 되어가고 있습니다. 에콰도르 국민들이 시카고 한인들의 사랑을 기다리고 있습니다.



As Ecuador recently had a devastating earthquake, KACS has agreed to serve as one of service centers to collect and store the imperishable food and other needed items on the 2nd floor auditorium. Alderman Deb Mell’s office and Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) will also serve as service centers in the greater Albany Park area.
